Dr. Kimberly Schumacher, PT, DPT
Kimberly is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics, scoliosis rehab and dance medicine and founder of Relevé Physical Therapy. Kimberly graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Before returning to back to WI, she spent 7 years in Chicago working as an onsite and touring physical therapist with the Joffrey Ballet and backstage with Broadway in Chicago. She has experience treating dancers and performers of all ages from adolescent, pre-professional, competitive, collegiate to the professional level as well as non-dancers alike. As a former dancer herself, she recognizes first-hand the importance of having a medical provider who understands the unique demands and esthetics of dance. She has completed the Pilates Reformer Instructor training through Balanced Body, as well as advanced continued education in Rehab-based Pilates principles and is one of the only Certified Rigo Method,Scoliosis Rehab Practitioners in the Fox Valley region.
