Dr. Kimberly Schumacher, PT, DPT

Kimberly is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and dance medicine and founder of Relevé Physical Therapy. Kimberly graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has spent the past six years working in Chicago as an onsite and touring physical therapist with the Joffrey Ballet and backstage with several Broadway in Chicago musicals. She has experience treating dancers and performers of all ages from adolescent, pre-professional, competitive, collegiate to the professional level. As a former dancer herself, she recognizes first-hand the importance of having a medical provider who understands the unique demands and esthetics of dance.
