CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
"Kim helped me through two major injuries during my pre-professional ballet training. The care I received was outstanding. With her background in dance and ballet, she knew exactly what I needed and gave me important tools and exercises to carry with me throughout my ballet career. I am now a strong and healthy professional ballet dancer. I can confidently say I would not be the dancer I am today without her."

"Kim helped me throughout my career at The Joffrey Ballet. I had two significantly different injuries that she helped me comeback from, as well as daily maintenance when needed. Kim has a well rounded knowledge of dancers needs as a whole. I love that she understands me emotionally as well as physically. I would recommend her to anybody especially young dancers!"

"I discovered Kim and Relevè Physical Therapy after I had a procedure done on my toe joint. As a dancer I knew how detrimental having the strength in this tiny little toe was, and discovering that I no longer had that was very scary. I couldn’t go on relevè without being unstable which led to not being able to complete any sort of pirouette. The first time I saw Kim, I was honestly hesitant as to how she was going to fix this problem, but instantly I grew in faith. Kim provided me with exercises to help mobilize the joint along with stretches to regain the strength and flexibility not only in my toe but also in my whole foot itself. After about 3 months with Kim I was back to dancing with no issues. Kim, easily was able to save, what I thought was going to be an end to my dance career. Kim not only helped with my rehab but for any bumps along the road. She always was helpful and so supportive through the process of recovery. If you are a dancer in need of someone who understands how our bodies move differently than other athletes, I would highly recommend Kim. She’s so easy to work with and makes sure you reach the outcome you desire! Thank you Kim!!"

“As a pre-professional ballet dancer, I had an os trigonum excision on my ankle. I truly believe that Dr. Kim’s vast knowledge of dancers and their specific athletic needs helped me to heal quicker and become an even stronger dancer after rehabilitation. She was so encouraging and offered exercises and suggestions to continue to keep my body strong and not cause further injury.” I'm back and feel better then ever! Thank you so much Kim!"

"If you’re in need of a good physical therapist, Kim is the one. She helped me a great deal during my time at the Joffrey Ballet with my need for ankle adjustments and released them every time. I highly recommend you see her if you seek pain relieving sessions as well as exercises to help maintain your strength in recovery. Thank you, Kim!"

"Dr. Schumacher helped me through my first big injury at the beginning of my career as a professional ballet dancer. She was incredibly kind and understood a dancer’s needs. She gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to work through the injury. She created a rehab plan for me that was dance specific and helped me get back on stage. Her sessions allowed me to come back even stronger and taught me how to utilize preventative care to handle a dancer’s intense work load. Years later I still utilize the knowledge and exercises she gave me to this day!"
